The warehouse base "Toros" is intended for accepting with railway both motor transport different food and manufactured goods, and also for their partial grading, bulkhead and bagging.
  All warehouse, manufacturing and auxiliary puttings of base are placed in the one-storeyed major body two-piece, joint heated railway landing stage, with two railway branch-lines and two gantries for discharging coaches. 32 railways coaches are simultaneously mounted under outswapping.
  The base occupies a lease of ground by the floor space 8,6 hectare. Into composition of plants of base go into:
  The major body of a central warehouse, bulkhead, automobile drug room, barns, warehouse of ammonia and oils, three separately costing of a hangar, railway drug room, elutriator, cooling tower.
  The building of a central warehouse occupies the floor space 24675,9 м2 and includes warehouses:
- For storage articles of food (uncooled) -1341,5 м2;
- For storage articles of food (chilled) -1716,6 м2;
- For storage of vegetables and fruit (chilled) -4618,5 м2;
- For stowage of a potatoes (chilled) -2071,4 м2;
- For manufactured goods -9565,0 м2;
- For partial packing and bulkhead -1835,6 м2.
  Besides in a building of a central warehouse are laied out administrative, manufacturing and utility spaces.
  In total on the major body the communal warehouse floor space compounds 22285,1 м2, production area 2390,8 м2. Annual freight turnover of 102468 tons. The base is reeved with railway and automobile weights.
  The cooler is executed in the uniform insulated outline and is intended for stowage of perishable articles of food, fruit, vegetables. On the part of automobile entrances the automobile covered heated gantries with curbstones for motor vehicles are disposed, where the handling operationss are made.
  All technological and auxiliary equipment of the Finnish production. All bulk of civil and erection works is executed by the Finnish corporation "FIN-STROY OY".
  The base is put into operation in 1979-1985 years. The base is disposed in city Kostomuksha, in 30 kms from boundary with Finland and has highway and railway to boundary.
