"Torba na kruche" from Vyatka (then still Kirov) has engendered in 1991 in city, the leader, writer of songs both vocal Maxim IvAnov and Alexey Pyatkin (guitar) whence comes. The title originates in the book by Tolkien "Lord of rings". So the dwelling of the major hero Billboo Baggins was called, and in recalculation means "The house on a mountain". The magic world of the American writer has found the reflex in stylistics of early songs Max IvAnov.

  Practically all participants of the design, except for Сергея Григорьева, have arrived in Питер from miscellaneous cities of our immense country (Max and Lesha from Kirov, Theme from Saratovs, Oleg from Nalchiks). Now with the design was connected Timur Galbatsev (sound producer of group "Splin") "Torba" it was possible to be determined with the stylistics and to work out the individual concept of creativity. < br>  the guys even have invented original determination of the style - "brithead" (argument is logical enough: "we like group "Radiohead" and we very much like the British music", - Max IvAnov (from interview on a wireless "Modern").
  "Torba-na-Kruche" distinguishes high professionalism, rabietic energy (specially obviously present and appreciable on concerts) and irrepressible creative potential. The majority of the participants of group now ends a Conservatory. "We hope, that the combination of academic formation and rock&roll of stylistics is necessary as desirable to the one who will come on our concerts", - Max IvAnov (from interview in a log "APN", autumn, 1999). "Discovery of the maiden half of year became group "Torba-na-Kruche": musical culture, ansamble the game, scenic charm... ", - Andrey Burlaka ("FUZZ", №1/2 2000г.).
  With concert activity too all in the order. With each new protrusion the serieses of the admirers of group refill noticeably. "Torba-na-Kruche" frequently occurs in petersburg clubs (such as "Zoo", "Milk", "City", "Internet - club" and т. д.). The guys participated in a start(! by the begining of) of June of this year in a concert in stadium by Kirov together with such groups, as "Chaif", "NEP", "Untouchable", "Splin" etc. In October "Torba-na-Kruche" appeared in club "Bunker" (Moscow) where was met by rough delights and deafening ovation. Per the proximate months the concert in club "16 tons"(Moscow) is recognized schedule.
