In Kostomuksha - since 1987. In politics - with 1988. The participant of the first urban informal organization " The Democratic Initiative ". With 1989 - participant of social -democratic club Kostomuksha. The student of the first social-democratic school driving in Tallinn in the summer of 1989. The member of a social-democratic party of Russia with 1990.
May 12 1992 was elected by the chairman of organization SDPR of Kostomuksha. The participant of several congresses SDPR.
Considers itself as the supporter of liberal (right) flank SDPR. But thus always acted and acts for a uniform, authoritative and potent social-democratic party, led by a polyhabit spasm, known enough and dear in the country. The constant and convinced supporter G.Javlinskiy. In local politics always aspires to constructive interaction with representative and executive authorities.
