Art school
Is based in 1980. The first director Vitaliy Dobrinin. First five years he and his wife Larisa Dobrinina were the sole teachers at this school. Then one more teacher Alexander Kostukov has appeared. In such structure the school has worked 10 years, having received a name and status of one of the best art schools of Kareliya. All this time the school was supervised by its first director.
In 1990 V.Dobrinin was invited as the organizer and teacher of art school in Kuhmo (Finland). The director of school became A.Kostukov.
Now at school 6 regular teachers. At school 5 subjects are initially taught: painting, drawing, composition, sculpture, history of art. Except for the basic training there are two classes of professional training for the graduates of school, studio for the adult amateurs of fine art (principal V.Dobrinin), architectural studio (principal S.Leushev) and preparatory studio for the kids (principal Sicheva)
Annually school participates in exhibitions and competitions republican, All-Russia and international. Annually school will carry out up to 10 exhibitions of children's operations. Now at school 180 pupils are trained. The basic time of training 4 years. For 20 years more than 200 children became its graduates.
